Soap Fans United is excited to announce that 2011 Emmy-nominated actress Colleen Zenk (Outstanding Lead Actress, As the World Turns/CBS) will be in attendance from 2:00-2:30 pm at the ABC Upfront Protest Rally to be held outside Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center on May 17, 2011. The actress stated, “As a member of the cast of ATWT I know all too well the anger of the fans and the dismay of all who work in our Daytime world. This is devastating for the acting community and all supporting fields in New York. We are all being affected by these cancellations. This will hit the Broadway community immensely.”

In April 2011, she debuted her one-woman show "Colleen Zenk: LIVE" at Bob Egan's New Hope, to great critical acclaim. She will be opening in New York at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on July 2, 2011.
